Measuring For Mini Blinds
The first thing you have to perform when measuring for mini blinds is to know if you require inside or outside mount. Inside mounts fit the mini blinds within your window frames. On the other hand, outside mounts fit the window opening overlap.
Inside mount – First step in measuring for mini blinds
To determine the needed width, measure the exact distances between the frame’s interior surfaces above, in the middle and below, then utilize the narrowest measured width.
To get the length of the window mini blinds, you have to get the precise distance from the interior surface at the window top of the window up to the sill underneath, at the right, middle and left points. The longest length measurement will be used. Should you like to option of your blinds not touching the sill, then you need to deduct around ¼ inch.
