Workman's comp case (carpal tunnel)?
I was diagnosed today with carpal tunnel syndrome. My job consist a lot of hand work. (I'm a machine operator so I'm always using wrenches, micrometers, and many other hand tools). Is this a workman's comp case? I live in CT. I'm worried that my boss will get mad at me for not going through my health insurance and lay me off or maybe fire me. Last year we had a meeting because of too many claims and premiums are going up. What should I do????
If your symptoms are a result of work activity, which seems obvious here, then it is certainly a workman comp case.
