Need help with music production equipment?
I've been producing for about 3 years and just started DJ'ing. I produce rap, rock, progressive trance and electro house.
I have been using reason for a while and haven't been too fond of the sounds/samples that they provide and am looking to shell out a lot of money on new equipment. Outside of programs like Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Cubase, Reason (etc.) I would like your advice. I want to know what you guys think about the following different products: what are the pro/cons, differences, why people prefer one over the other and what genres do they suit best
Samples: Omnisphere vs. Komplete 6
Workstations: Motif XS6 vs. Fantom G6
Guitars: Gibson USA Melody Maker vs. Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS
